Lighting Design

Artificial & Ecological Lighting Impact Assessment

 

HLD Studio provide environmental lighting design, with particular expertise in ecological lighting impact assessments, including particularly light-sensitive bat species.  We  undertake light surveys, detailed 3D computational modelling and assessment for planning & regulatory purposes.

HLD undertake ecological lighting impact assessments for local planning requirements taking into account  criteria set out in key documents, such as, BCT ILP Guidance Note 08/18: Bats and artificial lighting in the UK produced by the Bat Conservation Trust and the Institute of Lighting Professionals.
